A man doesn't let emotions
cloud judgment. I, as a woman, understand our vulnerability lies
in our emotions

The North
Darzi
Two days unfolded with the inspection in Darzi persisting. Nima imprisoned herself in her room, steadfastly refusing to meet anyone, including Lord Voss, who had been compelled to offer his apologies by the coastal houses but was denied an audience. As the third day dawned, Safah's anticipated moment arrived.
On the horizon, three dozen pirate ships emerged, their ominous presence casting a shadow over the waters. A particular vessel set its course toward the shore. Darzi's soldiers, lined along the coast, prepared for conflict, war vessels at the ready. Yet, to the soldiers' surprise, the pirates hoisted a flag—an emblematic gesture signaling a preference for dialogue over bloodshed.
