Eight months later
Austin's POV:
"So have you informed your boss?" I asked, rubbing her feet which were swollen. She glared at me and continued to go through her magazine. Ever since she got pregnant, I have been nagging her to quit working or at least take maternity leave for nine months but she kept arguing with me saying it doesn't work that way.
"Here we go, silent treatment again." I let out a sigh and went on top to lie down beside her.
"We talked about this already, Austin. I'll be taking my maternity leave next month," she replied, making me frown. I didn't like it that she was working. I was worried about her as she always kept complaining about how tired she was when she came home. That's right, she moved in with me, not after a huge fight though. She thought I asked her to move in only because of the pregnancy which was obviously not true. Heck, I already picked out a ring for that woman and was planning to propose after the pregnancy.
