Episode 8

Seok hoon pulled the sword hanging on the wall and ran towards the guard.

Grabbing him from his throat, Seok hoon pinned him against the wall.

"You have a wrong conception about good deeds" His orbs were crimson red as he plunged the sword into his chest to which his eyes began to turn white and he fell on the ground.

Sun hee's hands were on her chest, her eyes in tears. She was too stunned. She was seeing that side of Seok hoon for the first time. But knowing that he did that for her, to save her...she was feeling many emotions at once.

Seok hoon looked at her. But before he could say anything, Sun hee went to him and hugged him tightly. He was taken back, his arms impotent in the air. She clasped him so tightly that they seemed like they were one. She couldn't believe he killed one of his own kind to save her. Her heart was still trembling and he could feel her hot breaths against his chest.

He was perplexed and dazed by what he was feeling at the moment. He still didn't hug her back because deep inside he was astonished by his own feelings. She slowly broke the hug, staring deep into his eyes.

They both knew that they were feeling something different but couldn't say it. Sun hee placed her hand on Seok hoon's chest to which he thought, he would lose control.

"I've never felt I'm important in someone else's life" she spoke, softly. "Nor I've felt this way for someone. It could be because I never gave anyone a chance" she wanted to pour out whatever she was feeling. "I was career oriented, busy in my hectic life. Relationships didn't last longer and then," she paused with a sigh.

"I thought these things weren't for me at least, not untill I get what I want"

She was feeling bad that she had never lived. Her childhood went by proving her father what she could do and now her youth days were going by trying to do something bug. It felt like she never cared about living life. She was an empty shell without no soul, working and walking.

But when she came to Blissvile, saw death in front of her eyes she realised how much life mattered, much more than career or anything else. If you've never lived life then what's the point? She wanted to stay alive and go back. She didn't care about any story anymore and around Seok hoon. She had been feeling something she has never felt before. Maybe because she never got time for falling in love.

And now those feelings were the only thing she cared about. So what if her father thought she was a failure? So, what if she couldn't make her name? It's not the end of the world, at least she would live life.

"But, right now what I feel...is something I can't explain in mere words. I've never gotten much love from anyone, be it my family or people I made relationships with. But right now, I feel that I matter to someone"

Seok hoon knew what he felt for her wasn't temporary because he never cared about anyone then why her?

But she could not become a part of his life nor could he make her. His father hated humans. He wouldn't even tolerate a normal bond let alone love. He moved away from her, freeing himself from her touch.

He knew his father was going to be really disappointed already. He couldn't give him more things to get upset about. He didn't want him to think he was the worst son and he didn't deserve the love he got.

Remembering how much his father loved him, cared about him. His heart wasn't ready to break his trust,

Although Sun hee meant a lot to him, he himself didn't know that deep inside he had already developed feelings for her. All he knew was that it's wrong.

"I saved your that day to talk to you. I was curious to know why humans would come here even after knowing what would happen to them. That's all" he paused for a moment.

"But things happened and I had to keep you here now I gave you hope. My only job is to send to back to where you came from" he said. "As soon as guards will leave the forest, I'll send you home somehow" he didn't want to listen anything else from Sun hee and she got it by them

Sun hee regretted telling him all that as he had already done a lot for her. She thought, she was being selfish by putting him in such a dilemma. She was cursing herself internally as she got carried away and said those things she shouldn't have. It was as emotional as she got carried away and those things she shouldn't have. It was an emotional moment for her and she couldn't hold it.

"Yeah. I-i got it" she replied.

"I-i have to go somewhere" he glanced to the guard's body.

"I'll get rid of it and go" he said as Sun hee lowered her head and nodded.

Later,

Seok hoon went to his friend Jiwoo. He was standing on the balcony, his gaze reflective to nothing in particular. He was thinking about Sun hee. He was trying to not to but he couldn't control his thoughts. Just then, a beautiful female of his own kind approached him.

"After a long time" she asked, her voice seductive, so was the way she looked at him with her siren eyes. Wearing a black leather dress, her nails painted black, her dark lips contrasted gorgeously with her smokey eyes. Seok hoon turned his face to her, letting out a quick sigh.

"Jocelyne" he spoke.

"So, you remember my name" she moved closer to his, sliding her fingers around his collars m trying to entice him.

"Of course" a wry smile crossed his face. Hearing that, she leaned over and whispered to his ear,

"What more do you remember about me? Or did you forget everything?"

"Even if I did, shouldn't you keep reminding me?" At that, Jocelyn chuckled.

The Next Moment, they were kissing each other hungrily in a room while she was unbuttoning his shit with her fingers.

He pushed her on the bed and climbed on top of her. She removed his shirt as he smashed his lips on her in a wild kiss. Their lips were moving in sync when with his eyes closed, Seok hoon saw Sun hee's face from moments ago when she was talking to him. He flinched as he opened his eyes and broke the kiss.

He was muddled what just happened. Why would he think about Sun hee while he was with someone in bed. He thought he could escape his thoughts by being with Jocelyn but why that happened instead? Jocelyn was unaware of anything while stroking his hair, began kissing him again. He slowly closed his eyes again, avoiding any thoughts. He hit her lips to which she moaned, when again Sun hee's face flashed before his eyes.

"What the heck!" He huffed as he immediately withdrew and got up.

"What happened?" Asked Jocelyn, dazed and confused. Seok hoon put his hand around his neck, sitting on the bed.

"D-did I do something wrong?" She was confused about what even happened to him.

"No" with a huff, he got up and grabbed his shirt.

"But-where are you going?" Jocelyn asked but Seok hoon left the room without another word, leaving her fazed.

Meanwhile,

Min joo was sitting on the couch talking to a girl when Jiwoo came to him.

"Where is Seok hoon?" She asked to Min joo, sitting beside him. Min joo turned to her saying with a smirk,

"He's upstairs with Jocelyn" Hearing that, she rolled her big, round eyes.

"We are together after almost a month and look at him" she hugged annoyingly, crossing her one leg on the other.

"Don't blame my friend, women don't give him time" he chuckled with a wink. Shaking her head in disappointment, Jiwoo left from there to find Seok hoon.

Few moments later, Seok hoon came down and sat on the couch next to Min joo, resting the back of his head on the couch, he closed his eyes. Looking at him, Min joo sensed something was off.

"Seok hoon?" He spoke."what happened?"

"Nothing" he replied, his eyes shut.

"You came back so soon and you look disturbed. Is everything okay?" With that, Seok hoon opened his eyes and drifted his gaze to Min joo.

"I don't know" he said."I don't understand" frowning.

Min joo got alert as he turned his body around him.

"What? Tell me, what is it?"

Then, Seok hoon told him how he saw someone else's face in his thoughts while he was kissing Jocelyn. He wanted to know why it could happen. With a wry smile, Min joo stared at him intently.

"Well well well..." He said in a teasing tone to which Seok hoon frowned his brows thinking why he was acting weird.

"Okay anyways. It is said that, when you see someone's face everywhere, you are in love"

"What?" Seok hoon said in a squeaky tone.

"Well, that is for people who are deep and romantic, like me." He said, dramatically putting his head on his chest. "But since it's you, that's not possible. I mean, how can you fall in love? So it's probably because you wanted her in the bed with you instead of Jocelyn."
