CHAPTER 31: INFINITE VOID

CHAPTER 31:

"Now" She spoke

"Let's begin"

Olivia said as she picked up an Ipad from the table beside her and tapped the screen. The ipad on and at the same time followed by the the screen behind her like a presentation.

"So here's what we know" She say's,

"The..."

*COUGH* *COUGH*

coughing were heard and as Olivia turned around to the direction it came from, her and Max gaze met. He blinked his eyes twice signalling her on something, before raising can of coke to his mouth and took a sip.

Olivia turns to face Ryu, and her gaze fell on the hamburger before him which was still untouched.

"This boy doesn't still trust us" She say's inwardly,

"Well i'll be disappointed if he trusted us so quickly"

"You are not eating?"

She asked and Ryu didn't respond as he fixed his gaze on the delicious, soft, scrumcious hamburger before him. No doubt, he was tempted to take a bite but he didn't trust them just yet, just hasn't seen a reason to.

it felt assive his mouth went dryer and dryer as he stares at it, the ultimate torment.

"Thank......" Before Ryu could refused,

A dark hole appeared beside him, before Ryu could react, a black hand reached out and unto his hamburger and it vanished. Ryu was shocked, the hand looked monstrous, somewhat demonic, terrifying like out of a horror movie.

"What was that?" He said.

He then turns and was shocked to see the small boy Lepris holding unto his sandwich. Lepris raises the hamburger to his mouth, taking a bite from it before a small black hole opened up beside him. He put his hand into the black hold, then another similar to that opened up beside Ryu, allowing the same demon hand of before to come out again and drop the sandwich back on his table.

Lepris felt Ryu's gaze on him, and turns to face him and thier gaze met once more, but unlike the first time, none of them released curse energy.

"Lepris what was that, that was rude" Olivia said trying to scold the boy but the Lepris didn't respond and stares at Ryu.

"Now you know it's not poisoned"

Lepris said and averted his gaze away from Ryu, who also did the same thing.

Olivia on the other hand was still trying to process the whole drama that happened here, turns diverting attention back to the tablet. Swiping and typing on the ipad which also displayed on the screen. The others didn't bother themselves and just faced thier meals, enjoying thier lunch, including Ryu who picked up his burger and raised it to his mouth, savouring the taste.

Oliva then raised her head up and turned, and it was not a surprise to her that he was eating.

"Ryu" she calls getting his attention.

"I know max must have already told you about your technique" She says.

Ryu whose mouth was full couldn't respond but nodded his head as a yes.

"The name of your technique is infinte void"Olivia says,

"He already told me that" Ryu murmured with food in his mouth.

"Okay but much deeper than that" Olivia said,

"Explain" Ryu said curious to know more about his technique, but what he didn't know he was about to get the shock of his life.

Olivia taps her tablet and an old timely picture, looking somewhat brown in colour popped up on the screen.

Ryu eyes widens in shock as he saw the picture, his jaw dropped showing pieces of meat and cheese from the hamburger in his mouth. It was like looking in a mirror, him and the guy in the picture looked so much alike.

"Like looking at a mirror image of yourself, Right?"

Maximus asked, but Ryu was unmoving and stared at it. But wasn't just him though, the others had thier jaws dropped and also having expressions similar to that on Ryu's face.

"Who..."

"Who is he"

Ryu asked,shocked and confused as he forcefully swallowed the food in his mouth so he could speak clearly.

Olivia was happy to respond,

"This was the former bearer of the technique infinite void"
