Legal battle Part 4

On the morning of June 19, 2018, Parm and Charan arrived at the court to submit an application for the transfer of Karan from jail to the hospital. The courtroom was abuzz with activity, with people anxiously waiting for their matters to be addressed. However, as a seasoned lawyer, Charan made a notable impression; his presence commanded respect, and they swiftly made their way to the judge's office without any delays.

"Hey Jaskarn, how are you?" Charan greeted the judge warmly, as if they were old friends.

"I'm good, Charan. How about you?" Jaskarn replied, offering them tea and snacks.

Charan politely declined, explaining, "I'm sorry, Jaskarn, but we're in a bit of a hurry. The police have a mentally unstable kid in jail, and we need to get him transferred to the hospital. Here's the transfer request."

To their surprise, Jaskarn already had the paperwork ready. "It's already prepared, Charan. Here you go. And I'll call for an ambulance to accompany you."

"Thank you, Jaskarn. I owe you one," Charan acknowledged gratefully, with Parm echoing his thanks.

As they left the court, Parm remarked, "You're quite a big name around here, Charan. These processes usually take months."It is like you guys are old friends.

Charan shrugged modestly. "It's not about being friends; it's about knowing each other's dirty secrets."

They proceeded to the police station, where Charan handed the transfer order to Officer Kamal. Kamal seemed resigned to Charan's influence, acknowledging, "I knew you'd be back, Charan. There's nothing I can do." But you are siding with the wrong .

Charan remained firm. "It's not for you to decide, Officer. Just follow the magistrate's order."

Reluctantly, Kamal instructed his men to release Karan from the cell and transfer him to the waiting ambulance. Karan emerged after spending a day and a night in the dusty cell, looking weary but relieved to see his uncle Parm.

Parm wanted to speak to Karan, but Kamal intervened, insisting, "Not now, Parm."

As Karan was escorted into the ambulance with handcuffs still on, Parm glanced at Charan, unsure whether they should accompany Karan. Charan reassured him, "Kamal won't violate the order. I'll go to the hospital to ensure everything is in order. You go home and inform your mother about this good news." So she can meet him you guys have two visits allowed of 30 minutes each in a day

Grateful for Charan's guidance, Parm agreed. "You're right, Charan. I'll fetch my mother, and we'll head to the hospital. Can you tell me when the first hearing is?"

"It's on June 25," Charan replied confidently. "Believe me, Parm, I'll resolve this matter at the first hearing."

With that, they parted ways, Parm heading home to fetch his mother, while Charan followed the ambulance to the hospital.
