Another phone call

After the phone call with Labu, Diljeet was afraid. Not because he was weak, but because of his son. He was thinking about what he could do to save his son when he remembered he still had Parm's contact information. He thought he could talk to Parm directly to resolve the matter. He searched his dial book, and after 10 minutes, he found it. Unsure of what he would say to convince Parm, he still made the call. After six rings, Parm picked up the phone and spoke first.

"So, after all these years, you remember me, huh, Diljeet? I still have this number because I knew someday you would call."

Diljeet spoke with fear in his voice. "Listen, Parm, we killed your brother because he was a traitor. He betrayed all of us, including you, so he deserved to die. This doesn't need to go any further. We should bury this right now."

Parm replied angrily, "Straight to the point, huh? Listen, Diljeet, I treated you like my brother, but you were not my real brother, so you had no right to kill my brother. And about betrayal—yes, he betrayed you, but he left all of you alive, his best friends, and you guys have a luxurious life. But you still came and destroyed lives. You even killed my brother's wife. But you made the same mistake as my brother. You left me and my nephew alive." And you're telling me to bury this, Diljeet? I killed more than twelve police officers. It's too far gone now; I cannot go back. I will come after you. You destroyed our family because of your ego, but now I will bury that ego with you in a grave, and those other guys will meet the same fate."

Diljeet was unable to speak at first, but he gathered his strength and said, "Don't forget, Parm, we are not weak. If you come after us, you will lose more of your family members, and eventually, you will join your brother in hell." There was still some fear in Diljeet's voice.

Parm started laughing maniacally and said, "I don't care, Diljeet. I don't care. I just want your head under my foot. Our friendship is over. And listen, someone told me you have a kid. What's his name? Ah, Arjun. Take care of him." After that, Parm cut the call.

Diljeet was unable to stand still. He then called someone unknown and asked them to provide security immediately. They agreed, saying, "You will get your security tomorrow morning

After that, Diljeet thought about whether he should go with Labu and the others to hunt Parm down. But after looking at his wife's picture, he told himself that he couldn't do any more killing. He wanted to be with his son and didn't want to go away.

So, he went to his son Arjun's room and lay down with him, hugging him. Arjun asked, "What happened?"

Diljeet replied, "Nothing, I just want to sleep with you."

Hearing this, Arjun was happy.
