Capturing Milton, Samue's Plan

Milton couldn't fathom how his opponent, who had just entered the borderland, managed to acquire a position. It was illogical! Moreover, he felt that the opponent didn't just possess one ability but many—many S-class abilities! That was even more unreasonable.

He clearly understood where he had been defeated. Was it the level? No. Was it the position? Also, no. It was the vast disparity in the number of abilities. Dozens of S-class abilities—it was outrageous. Having so many abilities constituted a qualitative change that couldn't be offset by a mere difference in levels unless he had advanced to being a Promoter and could use his position to dominate.
