Family reunion

As my grandmother gathered us in a circle, her hands outstretched to link with ours, a sense of anticipation hummed in the air. With a flicker of magic, she transported us to my mothers' castle, where the familiar sight of their welcoming embrace awaited us.

As we materialized in the courtyard, my two mums rushed forward, their faces alight with joy and relief. Adeline and Carol were enveloped in their arms, greeted with warm embraces and murmured words of affection.

When my mums turned to me, their arms outstretched in invitation, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of discomfort. "I'm not a child anymore, Mum," I protested, sighing as I took a step back.

But my protest fell on deaf ears as they continued to approach, their expressions filled with love and concern. Before I could object further, they pulled me into their embrace, wrapping me in a cocoon of warmth and affection.
