As we neared the exit, the ground beneath us began to tremble. The walls started to close in, the passageway narrowing rapidly.
"Run!" Zephara shouted, pulling me forward.
We sprinted towards the exit, the walls closing in behind us. Just as we reached the threshold, the passageway sealed shut, trapping us inside a small, dark chamber.
"No!" I cried out, banging on the solid stone wall.
Zephara held up the crystal, its light illuminating our confined space. "There must be a way out," she said, her voice calm but firm. "We just need to find it."
I took a deep breath, forcing myself to stay calm. "You're right. Let's search the chamber. There has to be an exit."
We examined the walls, feeling for any hidden switches or mechanisms. The chamber was eerily quiet, the only sound our labored breathing and the faint hum of the crystal.
