Once Chris was back from the Trial, he instantly went on about how it was.
"The trial was insane! I think mine was crazier than yours!"
"R-Really? What was it? Tell me!" Vlad was a bit excited to learn about other trials but quickly lamented even having asked about details.
"Well…"
Chris went on for ten minutes about what he saw and how everything happened. Vlad was left shocked by all the things Chris got to do, and while he was given such an arduous trial, Chris had a whole little adventure in another realm!
"T-This is so unfair…"
Paul dropped to the floor, lamenting how unfortunate he was; it was as if the game hated him and even made the trials, which were supposed to be fun, pure suffering for him.
The Blood Demon Trial granted him great power though, beyond his wildest dreams at that! But the amount of suffering he had to go through was quite traumatizing, although not really, as he didn't feel any trauma.
More like just an annoying memory about hating something, but without actual emotional damage. His overreaction came mostly because he wanted to also play Chris Trial and explore another whole Realm, a privilege he didn't get on his "lame" Trial.
"Hahaha… Calm down; I mean, the last battle was super hard… I almost lost completely back then." Chris giggled a bit, feeling bad. "I'm ok now though. So let's check what I got! Apparently there's this score point system thing and… ah, there!"

Chris' eyes widened the moment he saw the notifications, the list, and how everything worked! It was much more fun than he imagined.
"Oh wow! It's also pretty unique compared to yours…" Chris clapped happily.
"What?!" Paul gasped. "You get to choose Spirit Blessings? Damn…"
Paul was beginning to think some Game Developer was Chris' fan or something.
"I think I just have to choose some, and then they'll influence how the Class and Subclass Ranks Up," said Chris.
"I guess this time you don't even get to interact with the Evil Gods, I suppose that's a relief," said Paul. "I feel like your Trial might've been less harsh and much more different due to your fairy half. Maybe you had a trial that fairies would have instead, or something close to it."
"Hmm, maybe…" Chris nodded as he looked at the blessings. "Dammit, aside from the names and origins, it's not like I can guess what they do, right?"
"They don't have descriptions?" asked Paul. "Do they show bonuses or something else?"
"Do they give skills?" Camilla wanted to join the conversation between the two.
"No, none of that," said Chris. "It's more like just the name and the price. I imagine the higher the price, the better, right?"
"Can I see it for a moment?" Paul asked.
"Ah, sure, can you?" Chris wondered, showing him the status window.
Usually players couldn't see each other's system status unless they were allowed by the other.
But for things as private as these, it was possible that it wasn't possible for Paul to see it.
And well…
"I can't see anything other than your face…" Paul sighed. "Take a pic then."
"Okaaay…" Chris nodded. "There."
He took a picture using the game's screenshot feature and then sent it to Paul through the Friend Chat.
Once he got it, Paul glanced at the screenshot and realized what Chris meant.
"Oh wow, it's really interesting, alright…" he nodded. "Hmm, okay, I guess I get it. They're not only related to the blessing's name but also the spirit or fairy related to them. Most likely. So let's assume Salamander Blessing of Courage will give you more Physical Power, and also a fire element of some sort."
"Ooohh! Sounds interesting!" said Chris.
"Then Blessing of Wisdom is probably for Magic Power and… What are Myconid? Mushrooms that dwell in caves?" asked Paul.
"Yeah…" nodded Chris.
"Hm, it's hard to tell what element they could have," said Paul. "Unless they showed some affinity to something?"
"Ah! They said they had lesser psychic powers," explained Chris, remembering something that happened back then.
"Psychic Powers like mine?" Camilla wondered.
"Maybe…" said Paul. "But they could be weaker or different…"
"Ok, then with that logic, Endurance is Defense and Earth Element?" asked Chris. "But what about the other two?"
"What element were Beetle Fairies or Moth Fairies?" asked Paul.
"No idea… But I guess moths like to be out at night, so maybe night… darkness?" asked Chris. "And then beetles… They liked wrestling with each other."
"I suppose it could give a boot to just attack power in general," said Paul. "With no element associated to it… Perhaps. The moth blessing could give patience… I don't know what that means. I can't really think of an effect for that…"
"It's fine; I'm not choosing it anyway," Chris shrugged. "I think I'll pick the last three."
"Hm, I suppose it's the best," nodded Vlad. "Or you could ditch defense for more power with the beetle blessing."
"Aaah… I don't know," said Chris. "I got fucking handled by that two-headed dragon thing… I want more defense."
"That shouldn't happen in the future; the trial was unique with limitations, but in the rest of the game you'll be with me or Argentia, so we can take the hits for you," Vlad said. "I recommend specializing more on attack power, physical and magical, so your arrows deal the most damage. As magic arrows calculate damage with both, right?"
"Y-Yeah…" Chris nodded. "Ugh, ok! But if I end up dying or something, it'll all be your fault!"
"I promise I won't let that happen; don't worry," Paul acted all gallantly.
"Ok, ok… I wonder what'll happen to the rest of the points though," Chris said, picking the three blessings he wanted.

"Huh, those names are weird; did you name them right?" asked Vlad.
"I mean, I didn't because their names are annoying… Anyway, just look at the status." Said Chris, showing his status after his great growth.

Chris screamed as he noticed his status and how big it was, but above all, the Spirit Heart that had appeared right in there, alongside the new Spirit Stat.
"No way…!" Vlad said. "You awakened your Spirit Heart! Finally!"
"Woah… So that was the purpose of the trial?!" Chris gasped. "Damn!"
"That's simply way too convenient…" said Vlad. "You're really lucky, Chris! Dammit… Nah, this wasn't luck! It is as if someone did this as a favor for you."
"The System is automated most of the time, right? I guess it just helps any player increase in power based on their own strengths and weaknesses," Chris shrugged. "Well, we're done here. What should we do today anyway?"
"Ah… Well, I guess we should get going," said Vlad. "We were going to go hunt some monsters outside in the hunting fields or nearby forest. And also, we could try summoning Jeese."
"Oh right, I almost forgot about that guy…" Chris said, making a slightly annoyed face. "Do we have to invite him to play with us though? We're just fine, the two—I mean, the three of us! Little Camilla is all the support we need."
"I like to help!" Camilla raised her hands happily.
"Come on, Chris, don't be like that; we promised him we would invite him to this Realm," said Paul. "Also, he could be our ticket to visit other Realms, his Trait is incredible. We can't really just waste it."
"Riiiiiiiight…" Chris crossed his arms. "Just don't flirt with him!"
"I-I've never flirted with him…" Paul sighed, facepalming. "Come on, don't be jealous."
"I'm not jealous! W-Why would I be jealous?!" Chris barked, like an angry chihuahua. "Hmph! Whatever, let's just get going!"
"Haaa… This is new," said Paul.
