Gofumina ended up meeting someone even worse than Vlad, his powerful Heroic Summon, Insecta. A powerful being summoned from ancient times, specifically an Era known as "Obscuritas' Prehistory" where Kingdoms didn't exist and wild, powerful tribes fought against one another for supremacy on wild battles of bloodshed and savagery even worse than the present times.

In this prehistory era, the Insectoids led by Insecta were among the strongest; her presence alone made many foes fall to their knees instantly, which she then killed or added to her army as she wished.

Although she wasn't completely new to having a master, as in ancient times, she was also summoned by someone else, someone that Vlad learned was his ancestor, an ancient Vampire Prince described to also be crippled like him, that used a magic grimoire to grow stronger and strategize his victory across many wars.

Insecta and various other summons he had summoned were all members of his army, and Vlad often wondered if he would end up summoning these powerful units one day.

Nonetheless, none of that mattered that much in front of Gofumina, who only knew she was an intimidating bug lady.

That could eat her very easily if she wanted!

"Were you trying to run away, little rat?" Asked Insecta. "That cannot be! We have so many questions to ask you! Letting you go would just be not good at all, you see… So please behave and obey my master's words, understood? Or I will personally butcher you alive and use that cute green skin of yours to make a beautiful purse, understood?"

"Huh? Ah…!"

"Say "Yes Ma'am!" right now."

"Y-Yes Ma'am!"

Gofumina didn't have any other option than to nod and obey right now.

Insecta smiled gently, caressing Gofumina's face and putting her hands over her shoulders; they were incredibly heavy.

"Master~! I got her. She's quite the little brat, isn't she? Can I eat her later?" Insecta asked.

"You can't; she's a Player; she will simply disappear once she's killed," Vlad said. "And she's a victim here! She's not a villain; calm down."

"Oh? Is she? I don't know…" Insecta said. "You shouldn't be so trusting of others, my dear master. You never know when they'll try to betray you."

"Enough with that; she's a player. Another person from… whatever; let's just wait for everyone else…" Vlad said, as he saw Chris, Emerlinda, and Camilla arriving at the scene.

As they gathered around him, for a moment Vlad thought of Chris as just another of the girls, realizing he was surrounded by cute girls everywhere.

"Huh… It could be said I've become a harem protagonist now that I think about it… Except one of the girls is a guy, and the other my sister. And… Emerlinda is a guy IRL. And Insecta is… Uh, I don't know what she is. Then… Gofumina, I just met her. Could probably be another guy IRL. Yeah, never trust female players; they're most of the time guys."

After all, Vlad was well aware of this, as he himself created female characters in MMO games when he was younger and pretended to be a girl to get free items from horny players.

He had left behind such shameful acts, however, and he had reformed himself completely into a man of honesty, no longer faking his gender for free items online.

"G.I.R.L. means Guy In Real Life after all…"

He glared at Gofumina suspiciously, although he said nothing at all, only making her more nervous.

Was this guy really good or bad?

She couldn't tell with the faces he made!

"Hey! We're here! Paul! Are you alright?" Chris asked, walking to his side.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for worrying." Vlad smiled; Chris approached him and kissed his cheek.

He didn't say anything but blushed a little bit.

Gofumina glared with interest, although she didn't say anything else.

"So, this little goblin is the one behind the giant slimy monster, huh?" Chris flew towards her, intimidating her… and failing.

"Yeah, it's me! I already told everything I know to Vlad…" Gofumina decided to just act innocent, without even saying anything about her being the one that made the Dark Spirits gather in a single place. "I don't know where the cultist came from, but they also attacked me and killed my friends…"

"Hmm… I see… Well, sorry," Chris seemed to change his expression, looking a bit sorrier about the situation. "Should we secure their corpses to bury them or something? Ah right, you don't bury people here… Then cremate them into ashes to bury?"

"I-I don't know if they're even there anymore; the cultists used acid to attack us and their bodies... Well," Gofumina felt a bit disgusted when she talked like that, feeling nauseous about the situation and remembering how her friends ended.

"I see… that's a pity…" Insecta said with her eyes as sharp as ever. "Would you like to come to my master's city for now then? I bet you would like it."

"I-I really need to go, though. The mercenaries might be worried…" Gofumina said.

"We can accompany you then," Camilla smiled.

"Yeah, I guess so…" Emerlinda nodded. "Ah, hi! I didn't introduce myself before, right? My name is Emerlinda."

"A-Ah! The half-elf that helped me out…! You can tell them what happened, right?! I'm not lying, seriously!" Gofumina said.

"Oh yeah, she was being attacked; Camilla and I helped her fight them off," Emerlinda nodded, walking towards the goblin girl. "You alright?"

"I'm fine… Thanks for worrying, I guess. I'm a player, so it doesn't matter either way…" Gofumina said.

"Well, I'm happy to have helped…" Emerlinda smiled cutely, making Gofumina blush.

"Ugh, why is everyone here so cute?! Fuck!"

Gofumina could hardly resist being surrounded by such pretty people after being around ugly goblins for so long.

"That's right, brother," Camilla nodded. "I defeated the cultists using my powers, that Paladin or whatever, the one with huge green armor. He was very strong. But he was slain anyway. Though, the strange thing was that their powers converged on her. We found her struggling and groaning; I think she tried wearing their armor after killing and looting one of them."

"Is that right?" Vlad asked.

"Y-Yes…" Gofumina nodded. "It was… my fault. Ugh…"
