Athena's pov

Ouch

I hit my back on the bush. It had thorns and oh Lord. I felt numb, the pain was so bad that I couldn't feel anything. Luckily, I was healing fast.

" Here I got your necklace." I said to her and stood up.

" Oh...um I'm so so so sorry, thank you so much. I am so grateful." The girl said with genuine happiness and gratitude.

" Oh it was nothing." Nope it was something I felt like I was flattened. Even my ass feels like it got flattened.

She was about to go then I asked

" What is your name girl?."

" Raya, Raya Auden." She said as she took the necklace from my hand and helped me clean up.

" Ok I am Athena Valencia Aziz."

" Ok then and once again thank you so so much for your help. Your goodwill and compassion won't be forgotten." She said with a smile and sprinted off.

I wanted to say no worries be safe but the words stayed at the tip of my tongue as she ran off so stood there for about 10(ten) seconds with my mouth slightly open. When I finally got myself I turned back, supported myself a bit and leapt back to my bedroom balcony. I took of my velvet coat and took it back into my closet. I pulled my hair into a bun and fell right to sleep.

What a night I guess.

It was morning and I wasn't really ready to do anything quickly so I just laid on my bed after coming back from breakfast. I didn't see Vera plus I didn't want to infuriate her so I decided I stay on my own. But,due to me needing entertainment, I decided to make a quick stop at the library. I stood up and made my way to the library. When I entered, I started my search for any interesting fiction or history. Those were the genre of books of fancied. I loved reading about fallen kingdoms and empires that had once thought they were eternal for history. I admired the imagination and vast creations of writers for fiction. I grabbed a fiction and, after about an hour. I later decided to go explore a bit so I dropped the novel back in where I saw it,went back to my room, grabbed another a sage coat and went off.

I had gone deep into my explorations and realized I was now lost. How can I be lost in a palace you ask? Well you can't unless,this said palace was like a village on it's own. But, I wasn't seeing any buildings now anymore, I was seeing just trees. I looked front,turned back and just saw trees. I had decided to just walk further, that I would later bust out from nowhere back to the building. Was I being delusional? yes but you can't really blame me when I was trying to hold on to a single thread of hope. I had been walking for a good 45 (forty five) minutes when I saw a lady was swinging on a tree. She looked in a mid ages and was wearing a cloak to but a black one, she wore a golden looking dress inside and had auburn colored hair with green eyes.

"Erm... sorry for interrupting you but please would you mind helping me with something?." I asked the lady, nervous.

She didn't say anything for 10 (ten) seconds then said

" Sure but,on one condition." She said fully giving me her full attention.

" You are already giving me a condition when you don't know what I want to ask. What if you don't know it?." I asked being indecisive.

" There's nothing you want to ask me that I don't know." She said with courage and certainess.

" Ok then, I am lost and I need help to get back to the palace. Please would you mind giving me directions. What is your condition?."

" I will help you and the condition is that you answer three (3) riddles I ask of you."

" Riddles?."

" Yes."

What was I in a quest? Well how come I was going on one and I wasn't aware.

" Ok." I didn't have much of a choice did I? " "First of all the riddles are going to contain the words; gods, titans and humans." So let's begin shall we?."

" Yes."

" Ok then

What is more powerful than the gods, more evil than the titans and if humans eat it they die."

Ok what did she just say? It sounded so simple but it's also complex because the word has to fit all three descriptions .

" I have an answer." I said after a min or two after thinking.

" Nothing."

" Really?."

" Yes, nothing is more powerful than the gods, nothing is more evil than the titans and if humans eat it they die.

" That is correct. Two more to go."

I felt relieved this was easier than I thought.

"I am always coming but never arrive,

More silent than the gods, more patient than the titans.Humans fear me, yet they cannot escape,For I am the one who takes all, yet leaves nothing to claim.

What am I?."

Spoke too soon. Wait what!? Ok this one was slightly longer and .....ughhhh. ok think Athena . Time. It should be time. Yes!.

" Time."

" Elaborate."

" Time is more silent than the gods, more patient than the titans and humans fear tim because they have no control over it so, they can't escape it. Time takes everything yet leaves nothing behind." I say slowly forming everything in my head.

" Impressive. Correct. It seems they are easy considering how fast you answer let me make it more..... difficult."

" Look,they aren't easy I am just using logic and understanding to answer them. "

" Ok. Your third and last one. Gods whisper, titans roar, humans echo. What am I?."

This one was short than the first and had my brain racking. I was...stuck . I couldn't think of a single thing. I didn't know what to say . I could think of words but they didn't match the description. She looked at me a " cat caught your tongue?" look and jumped down from the swing to walk away. She was already 4(four) steps away when I yelled.

" Knowledge."
