The workers' eyes darted around anxiously in search of Kiara, murmuring amongst themselves.

Eventually, Kiara emerged from the restroom, her attention was on the stubborn buttons of her top.

Unaware of the scrutiny, she proceeded towards her office, only to be halted by the stillness in the room and the collective gaze fixed on her.

"Kiara, please take a seat," Darren's voice cut through the silence, breaking the spell.

Confusion etched on her face, Kiara complied, prompting Darren to explain,

"I noticed your absence and wanted to ensure you were here for this."

He continued, "The CEO will be back in three days, so let's make sure everything is placed in order, so there won't be any complaints," Darren emphasized.

"Yes, sir," the workers chorused, promptly returning to their tasks after he left.
