"Wow, I was expecting a scolding, but she didn't even flinch," the chef thought to herself, watching Mrs. Hernandez ascend the stairs with a quiet grace.

"Her son must have a lot of influence over her," the chef mused, shaking her head in wonder. "He can get her to do his bidding, that's for sure, she could do anything because of her son ."
