Chapter 9: Feelings
"What the hell!!!!!!!" She screamed
"When did it start?".
"How did it happen?".
"Since when?" she kept asking different questions. She looked through the window and saw Jacob's car departing. She dropped her stuffs on the chair and sat on it resting her head. She jolted up
"And where the hell is Elvis?" she said
"Elvis!!!"
"Elvis!!!!" She called but she heard no reply. She immediately brought her phone out of her bag,she kept dialing his number but it wasn't going through.
She was worried so she tried calling John but his phone was switched off "what am I going to do now she asked".
"Where on earth are you"
"Maybe am over thinking it. He should be fine" she went in to freshen up.
It was already 9pm and Elvis wasn't back, she grew more restless.
She picked up her phone when she saw a new message.
"Hey sis. Sorry for stressing you am with John we are having a school project. Am fine" the message was from Elvis. Something wasn't just feeling right. She tried his line again but after several rings the phone was switched off, it got her really worried she didn't know what else she was going to do. But at the end she conculed that he doesn't want her to disturb him maybe that why he switched off her phone. She messaged him back " make sure to eat your food and don't stay up too late because of the project when you are done please call me and be a good boy".
She prepared her food and went to sleep.
"It sure was a long day". She said drifting off to wonder land
At the restaurant
"Ahhhhh!!!! Are you kidding me?" Elsa had to cover Debbie's mouth.
"You won't want him to know would you" Elsa just narrated everything that happened yesterday.
"I have a feeling he was also in to you" Debby said.
"What was your reply" Debby asked getting excited
"As I said before I told him it was too early"
"Girl are you kidding me!! You crush asked you out and you told him it was too early. Are you crazy!!" Debby said
"Hey calm down. You don't have to get all worked up" Elsa said while blushing.
"But on a serious note why didn't you.. you know accept?"
"I would look cheap like I don't really know him, besides see him at work that all I know. I should know him before entering any relationship with him" Elsa said cleaning the shelf.
"Well that true but don't keep him waiting"
"Sure" they heard the door's cracking sound making them both look at the door's direction. To their surprise they saw Jacob holding a bouquet of roses. He walked directly to Elsa and gave her the bouquet of roses
"Good morning pretty" he fashed a smile to her. She was surprised but smiled back.
"How was your night?" He asked
"T'was fine and yours?" She asked
"Uhmmm thanks for yesterday and thanks for the roses"
"You don't have to thank me, anything for you. Well the roses reminded me of you so I bought it".
"Thanks" she said with a smile.
"Have I completely gone invisible?" Debby asked with her hand on her waist.
"Ohh!! Sorry, my bad. Good morning"
"Uhuh morning". Well we should get back to work before the manager sees us" Elsa said.
"Sure see you around pretty" Jacob said with a wink before leaving.
"Oh my God. Never knew he was this romantic" Debby gushed happily.
"Uhmmm Elsa I think you are about to become red, in fact your face is red" Debby said teasing her
"Common!! Am not blushing" Elsa said covering her face with her hands..

" Am sorry" he kept pleading till his voice was heard no more.
"What of the other kid?" Alan asked Caleb
"Uhmmm he... He.. ran...out" Caleb said sweating
"What did you just say?" Alan said shouting at Caleb. They might be friends or best of friends but when it comes to business Alan does not " give a f**k"
"I want him before sunset" Alan said with no expression on his face.
At the basement....
Elvis crys could be heard all over. He was look lifeless already. His lips has been bursted. He face where barely recognizable. Alan sat at his front with his cold face
"Where is your friend's house?" Alan asked gesturing to the guards to stop the torment.
"I already told you that's where he's living" Elvis said with pain, his voice where cracking. "This man looks familiar" he thought inwards he kept trying to remember where he saw him. "Wait a minute he was the same man who helped elsa when she had an accident why his he doing this to me".
"Sir please help me it's me!! Do you remember me we met at the hospital you helped my sister" Elvis said trying to gain sympathy from this devil in front of him.
"I remember you so now where are my stuffs"
" I really don't know where it is please help me"
"Continue" Alan ordered the mobsters
"Sir his phone has been ringing since" a mobster said stretching Elvis phone to Alan .
"I think it's his sister"
"So does your sister also know about my stuffs?"
"No.. no...no ... I swear she doesn't. Please don't drag her into my mess please"
"Text her"
"What should I say" the mobster said
""Hey sis. Sorry for stressing you am with John we are having a school project. Am fine".
"She replied back. And she's calling again" the mobster said
"Switch it off"
"And take that God damned phone out of my sight" Alan roared.
" Bring it "Alan said. They brought a bucket filled with water and poured it on Elvis body.
"Ahhhhh!!" He screamed painfully the water contained salt and he felt like all his body were on fire. The pain was too much so he passed out.
Alan stood up "continue when we wakes up" with that he walked out and Caleb followed him.
"Sir we've checked the CCTV footage and it looks like he doesn't really knows about it he was just following his friend's order, I think his innocent" Caleb said. Alan paused and turn to face him
"Well do you want to carry the blame for him?" Alan asked
"No sir" Caleb said fearfully
"Good" Alan said walking away.....
