The Daughter's Dress

The doors to the throne chamber opened, and Vulcan saw the same things Rodnir did. However, he didn't say anything anymore. He just walked with Fenris toward the throne, ignoring how the three concubines stood around and gave a rehearsed bow to the king first.

After the curtsy, they didn't stay in the center. They had to stand at the side as if servants awaiting orders from the king. When Kanaru got a look at the other king who arrived, he saw how the man stared at him with confusion in the man's eyes.

King Khael Grazier was tall and hairy, his shoulder-length hair lush and thick like he was a lion. The posture was straight and steady, seemingly belonging to a king who would fight using his brute strength. He dressed luxuriously, with garments even more expensive than what Fenris would put on his body—like the real king of the jungle.
