See Me in My Purest

"Fly to the ceiling!" Fenris yelled, but he felt how the ground shook hard enough to make everyone fall. The ground broke from underneath them, and the sinkhole expanded in an instant. Most people by the rim managed to get away, but a knight lost his footing and fell in.

Instead of flying off just as ordered, Kanaru allowed himself to fall as well. He reached for the knight and only tossed the person back to the surface as hard as he could. After all, multiple tendrils shot toward him, and he wouldn't make it if he tried to fly.

Kanaru couldn't help but scream when he was sharply pulled toward the turtle's head at the bottom. The beak opened, and the small eyes stared at him as if he were a piece of prime meat.

When Kanaru screamed, Fenris turned to find how someone volleyed over. The king caught the knight first before tossing him away again. Then, Fenris looked down and saw how Kanaru was being pulled into the mouth of the turtle's head.
