A Problem with the Envoy

Clack, clack. The horses finally came to a stop. Even if it was better for them to cross the ocean and enter Middlemist as soon as possible, Fenris still opted to stop at a certain harbor country. On the surface, it was only because… Kanaru hadn't seen a harbor country before.

The entire envoy of the king of Middlemist resurfaced on the grassy patches next to the roads leading to the big country of Grazier. It was not the most bountiful; neither did it make the best arrangements. It was simply the harbor country that had the shortest trip from their docks to Middlemist. That was why most dignitaries in the mid-grounds used their harbors for travel instead.

Fenris looked out of the window next to him, seeing the familiar night sky that remained unchanging. At this, the moon was the only visible way to find out the time. Then again, even if he came in the middle of the day, he cared too little.

King Grazier never cared what time he came to Middlemist anyway.
