Du Zhuhui started setting up the Seeking Artifact and waited for it to start. After a while, there was a bright glow coming from the Artifact.
Soon the glow started to form a single straight line. When it finished stabilizing, it looked like an arrow pointing in the direction.
Looking at the line, it was pointing towards the sea right in front of them.
"It seems like Hou Siqing is down the Sea..."
Hearing his Master, Wen Zhexi didn't know what they would be doing in this case, currently he was only at the 2nd Nascent Realm and his Master was only at the 1st Nascent Realm.
But then again, how did his Senior Brother manage to go down? Was it due to luck or did his Master give him an artifact intentionally?
Knowing that his Master had countless Artifacts with him, it should be possible.
"Master... Do you have an Artifact that we could use in this situation?"
Du Zhuhui thought for a moment, then he shook his head.
"I seem to have given it to Hou Siqing..."
Recalling that Hou Siqing came to him a year ago in order to get the Water Sphere Artifact, it was only now that Du Zhuhui realized what Hou Siqing's intention was.
When Hou Siqing asked for the artifact, he didn't think twice and just handed it to him. After all, his Disciple was already big so he didn't feel the need to ask what he was going to do with that Artifact.
As they stood on the Beach, something came out hiding below the sand. It wasn't big and the strength wasn't enough to put the two in danger, but a few minutes later countless other Mini Scorpions appeared.
"F*ck! Master, we need to get out of here fast! It seems like this is the nest of these Mini Scorpions!"
Mini Scorpion, they are a 3-Star Monsters with the strength of Early Core Realm. They may be weak individually, but they usually live together in a nest. Together, they had the strength of a 5th Nascent Realm cultivator.
Du Zhuhui also knew about this fact, but unlike his Disciple he wasn't fazed by these Mini Scorpions. Although his strength was only at the 1st Nascent Realm, he could just use an Artifact that was way beyond his realm in order to fight against them.
However, using this mode in order to fight, he would need to spend half of his Spiritual Qi.
As Du Zhuhui was about to take an Artifact from his Spatial Ring, an old robust man wearing metal armor appeared and immediately killed all the Mini Scorpions.
"What is the Nascent Realm like you going here? This place is too dangerous!"
It was the Coastal Guard of Alcarel Sea. Due to how dangerous the Abyss of Damnation is, Elders with the strength of Void Shattering Realm from a powerful faction of the Alcarel Desolate Land are required to stay at guard for 10 years before the next Elder from another faction comes to take his place.
It seems like for this decade the one guarding was from the Recaal Merchant Group.
In order to give his thanks for saving them, Du Zhuhui took an artifact from his Trash Pile and gave it to the Coastal Guard.
"Good Evening, Senior. Thank you for saving us, please take this as my sincerity."
What Du Zhuhui gave was a Peak Nascent Realm Artifact. Although it may not seem compatible for an Early Void Shattering Realm to wield it, its quality was perfect. Therefore, it's strength wasn't much different to Early Void Shattering Realm Artifacts.
As the Coastal Guard looked at the Artifact that Du Zhuhui gave him, he was quite pleased with the Artifact.
He took the artifact and put it in his Spatial Ring. This would be a good gift for his granddaughter when he returns.
"Hmm... What you gave me is quite precious. I can accompany you to where you will cultivate if you want."
As a benevolent Elder, he can't just take anything precious without giving proper compensation. Although he saved them, he realized that the two didn't need his help after all.
Having the Coastal Guard accompany them was a blessing indeed. Wen Zhexi was quite happy deep inside him, but as he started to think about it... Did his Master give the Coastal Guard a precious Artifact so that he will help them?
Well, needless what his Master was thinking, having the Coastal Guard accompany them was a fact.
"I thank the Senior for your help."
Having someone powerful to help them was something that Du Zhuhui wouldn't decline.
Pointing towards where the Seeking Artifact was pointing, "Senior, please accompany us there."
The Coastal Guard looked at the Artifact at the hand of Du Zhuhui. Seeing that it was just at the Mid-Nascent Realm used as a light source, he didn't bother about it. It seems like this Nascent Realm old man just gave his most prized Artifact.
"Okay, just stay near me while we swim down the sea and guide me to the place you want to go."
Following the Coastal Guard, they now have a way to reach where Hou Siqing was.
The Coastal Guard clasped his hands together and started concentrating. As Wen Zhexi looked at him, he was curious as to what he was doing. Hoping that his Master knew what it was, he looked at him with an asking look.
"What Senior is doing is to manipulate the surrounding Spiritual Qi in order to form a Shield in the shape of a bubble. Once he is finished, we will go inside the bubble. This Shield of Spiritual Qi will be able to protect us from the current of the Sea and Monsters weaker than Senior."
Void Shattering Realm cultivators have much more sensitivity toward the Spiritual Qi in their surroundings than Nascent Realm, by Manipulating their surroundings they could use the Spiritual Qi at their own will.
Back when Du Zhuhui was at the Void Shattering Realm, he could form a Spiritual Qi Shield within a few seconds.
But right now, he only has slightly higher sensitivity than the normal Nascent Realm Cultivators.
Though it was still an advantage in battle, for Du Zhuhui he felt that it didn't do much.
Looking at the Coastal Guard taking more than 5 minutes to form a Spiritual Qi Shield, it seems like his talent was around the average back in his hometown.
Starting to feel regrets welling up deep inside him again, Du Zhuhui sighed and tried to erase all his thoughts about the past. It wasn't the right time to succumb to the past, he needed to save his Disciple first.
