A Golden Opportunity

She froze in her spot for a few seconds. Eventually, Maddison regained control of her body. She quickly pushed her cart to the next aisle and hid there.

[I don't think they saw me.] She thought to herself.

She could still hear them kissing and moaning in the aisle. How shameless were they?! They were already married, were they not? Now they were getting it on in a public space!

"Oh Hugo darling," Lizzie moaned, "You're so horny today, aren't you?"

"Lizzie, my dear. It's because you're irresistible. Maddison could never compare."

The heiress chuckled as she replied, "Of course she can't, that pathetic bitch can't make you cum the way I do."

Hearing them speak made Maddison cringe. She gripped the pole of her shopping cart tightly. Anger boiled in her veins as she recalled how they humiliated her in public.

[And to think I cried for that asshole.] She gritted her teeth as she chided herself.

Looking at the groceries in her cart, Maddison wondered if she should simply abandon it and never return. She shook her head. She had come so far for these groceries, she wasn't about to leave without them!

But the thirst for revenge burned in her throat. She just knew she had to do something. Anything. As she continued to look at the food she had in her cart, an idea came to mind. A cheeky smile formed on her face as Maddison got to work.

First, she set up her phone in the next aisle to record Hugo and Lizzie. Then, she went to the store to collect a few more ingredients before paying for them. She parked her paid groceries at the cashier before returning to the aisle.

Unsurprisingly, Hugo and Lizzie were still making out, getting all handsy with each other. They were completely oblivious to what happened around them. This gave Maddison the perfect opportunity she'd been looking for to prank them.

Once everything was set up, Maddison grinned triumphantly. She walked over to an employee who happened to be two aisles away.

"Is there something I can help you with, miss?"

"Oh yes, there is. I walked past the cheese aisle just now and noticed someone made a mess. I think you better get someone to clean it up before anyone gets hurt," Maddison said to the employee.

"Will do, miss. Thank you for letting me know! I will get it sorted at once."

As she watched the employee scurry off, Maddison felt a little bad. But it was a necessary evil in that scenario. After that part of the plan was complete, she walked back to the aisle she had hidden her phone in and waited for the show to begin.

The employee ran off to get cleaning supplies. When they got to the cheese aisle, they dropped their supplies in a state of panic.

"What are y'all doing?!" The traumatized employee yelled.

Realizing they'd been found, Lizzie screeched in panic as she tried to cover herself up. Hugo tried desperately to protect his new wife. As they tried to make a run for it, they slipped and fell onto the ground, covered in oil and stick liquids on the ground.

Maddison covered her mouth with her hands, trying her best not to make a sound as she watched from the next aisle.

"We need to leave, now!" Hugo yelled as he grabbed hold of Lizzie's hand and tried to use the shelving unit for support.

However, his hands were now covered in oil. He could not get a grip on anything. That caused him to pull merchandise off the shelves, leading him to fall on his back once more. Since he was holding Lizzie's hand, she was dragged down too.

As much as Maddison wanted to stay and watch the grand finale, she knew it was time for her to leave. She collected her phone and casually left the aisle as if nothing had happened. She collected her groceries from the cashier, while listening to the screams of horror and cries for help.

When she got back to the penthouse, Maddison hummed a tune as she put away the groceries she had bought.

"What's put you in such a good mood?"

The sudden question made Maddison gasp in shock. She turned around to find the source of the question to be Elias. He didn't have a shirt on, leaving his well-defined abs on display. Under the dim lights, he looked so handsome!

Maddison was mesmerized by his charming looks, she didn't know what to say. Elias looked at her in bewilderment. He just came out for a glass of water, only to find Maddison in the kitchen putting groceries away.

"Also, who goes out to buy groceries past midnight? You can just get them ordered, you know," He added as he crossed his arms.

"Well, I prefer to pick my own groceries," Maddison replied when she finally regained her voice.

She tried avoiding making eye contact with him, worried he would see her blushing cheeks. She quickly stuffed the remaining items into the fridge. She could feel Elias's presence right behind her.

When she turned around, she found him just inches away from her. Maddison gulped as Elias reached past her to reach for something in the fridge. She leaned back to give him more space, but still, they were so close!

Her heart was pounding in her chest, not knowing what to make of it. That moment felt like it was going on forever! When she looked up at Elias, she noticed he was looking right at her.

"Sorry, I didn't realize how close we were," He said groggily.

He grabbed a bottle of ice water before moving away from her. Maddison froze in place, still trying to process what had just happened. As Elias stepped away from the fridge, he noticed Maddison's phone on the counter.

When he caught a glimpse of the video on her phone, he picked it up immediately.

"Hey what are you-"

Maddison paused in horror as Elias tapped the screen to play the video.
