Winter Beach

Elias came into view with a smile on his face. He pulled Maddison along with him to explore the amazing beach they were on. The weather in Iceland was blistering cold. Both of them wore thick coats to combat the cold weather.

A chilly wind blew over them. Maddison shivered a little. Her teeth were chattering from how cold it was. Elias reached over and zipped up her coat for her. He carefully rearranged her scarf so that it would protect her neck from the cold.

"Better?" He asked.

"Better, thank you," Maddison replied while blushing.

She felt like a child! She had never been in such a place before, let alone with the need to wear such cold weather gear. Though she had experienced winter in the past, this was so much colder.

"Why's the sand black?" she asked, as they continued to take a stroll, captivated by the view.
