"As my girlfriend said, you said it twice," Elias backed Maddison up. His voice was ice cold and sinister, sending shivers down Emilia's spine.
How was the general manager going to get herself out of this mess now? Emilia gulped, cold sweat trickling down her forehead. Elias King was one of their most esteemed guests! If she lost his trust, she would be fired for sure!
"Please, Mr King, I think-"
Elias raised his hand to stop her from speaking. He'd heard enough. He didn't need to hear her try and weasel her way out of it any longer.
"You don't have to think. I've already made my decision," He declared.
Maddison, a little confused, looked to Elias incredulously. What decision was he about to make?
"I don't think this hotel is suitable for our stay. Maddy," He put his arm around his girlfriend's waist while gazing into her eyes as he said, "Let's find a better hotel."
"Better? I can assure you, Mr King, there's no better hotel than-"
