We're Done

"Ah, I see you've found your mother's room?" Leo Salvarone entered the bedroom.

Maddison wiped the tears off her face as she turned to face her grandfather.

"You're back, Grandpa," She greeted him with a hug.

"Yes, sorry to keep you waiting," Leo said as he gently patted his granddaughter on her back.

For a split second, he'd thought it was his daughter who was hugging him. Maddison looked so much like her daughter when she was younger. Her personality was similar too.

"It's alright, I heard you had some matters to take care of."

Together, they walked back down to the living room to continue their conversation. Maddison quickly explained her reason for coming to see Leo. Once he heard that she needed his help, he did not hesitate for a second.

He called forth his closest confidantes and gave them their orders.

"Find out any and all information about these people and bring it back to me at once," Leo ordered.
