Zanna's hearts thudded loudly that it could've been heard from a mile away as she still stood like that spot had actually frozen and captured her legs to it spot. With unbelieve clearly seen in her eyes that look horrified, she looked back in hindsight at her action. She thought hard on what to do wheather to stay or run away from the yet unfolded scene.
Having come up with nothing, Zanna instictively heard the school bell ring signaling the commencement of classes and she found out that more problems are going to be arising ahead soon if she doesn't do or come up with anything quickly. Now, she seem to realized very much that she hadn't thought this through well enough. In a matter of seconds, she was confused, baffled and dumbfounded all at the same time. She stated at the heavy cost of damages she'd done to the once perfect car as if it wasn't real but a nightmare that she wanted to badly wake up from now. She was a lot amazed by the turn out of event now and what her actions had now caused one she hadn't put much of effort into. She knew that whoever had this car won't be too happy but hurt to see this and she felt bad now within herself as she hadn't been intending or planning to cause a single harm or distress to it.
Personally now, she knew very well that she didn't have the amount of money that would take to clean the hell of a mess she has done to this car. So, she won't be able to help the owner cover for the cause of her reckless and inconsiderate act though she would've really wanted to.Realizing the weight of the terrible situation Zanna knew she was now in, she figured she just couldn't be caught to have been the one that'd did this because if she was as a poor helpless girl it would be her death sentence and end in life. Like a criminal who doesn't want to be caught or seen, she looked warily and suspiciously around to see if any one was looking or giving much attention to her by where she stood. Finding none, she breathe a breath of relief and muttered a prayer before taking her bicycle slowly and looking around again one last time she waited before mounting it and riding it for her dare life.
She gushed and peddle fearlessly like the devil was on to her and ride hurriedly for the safety of her life. When she'd gotten somehow afar from the parking lot, she instantly stopped and looked behind her thinking someone must have been up to her. She saw nothing and exhaled a sigh before parking her bicycle behind some bushes. Then, she saw that she was the only student still left outside the school compound and found out she'd about two minutes alone to make it to her class fast if she wanted to be early in time before the teacher walked in.
Geez! Zanna thought when she'd seen the time that she read from her wrist watch before hurrying off to make her class. She ran like a mad woman into the schools building and through the wide hallway. Gosh! She feared to be late because she didn't know the wicked or maybe a little bit nice teacher they were to have in her class this morning on the first day of school resumption as she could get detention head straight for being late to class. As she kept staring at her watch closely watching her time frame, she wasn't watching where she was going and hit a boy passing in between the two that must've been walking together and for a split but quick second she notice he was a senior. It was unlike her attitude to hit someone accidentally without saying sorry and she wanted to turn to apologize to the boy because she could guess he her kind of upset with the way he stood back watching her. She wanted to turn and mutter a quick apology but then her time ran out as she noticed she only had a minute left. She waved her hand back hoping they see and got the memo of it before she began to panic racing up the stairs like a cheetah. The moment she reach the landing floor from off the stairs she started her running in a flash again until she had gotten much closer to her class.
Zanna stopped running when she heard the closed distant sounds of her classmates noises and panting she was sure that a teacher wasn't inside. She calmly walked up to the classroom door when she'd finished her panting regaining her breath and energy. The moment she appeared at the doorway and all her classmates sighted her they stared briefly at her then totally ignored her like she wasn't a human. She was used to this as none of her classmates had ever even talked to her and she didn't have a friend. They saw that they were different from her and saw no point in associating with her because they weren't on the same level. She always felt bad inwardly by this when they treated her like she wasn't one of them but an outcast but she doesn't show it much because she felt they their ideology of the rich and poor not having any so called form of association was in a sense true.
So, with her head bowed down and feeling a little shameful of herself inwardly, Zanna walked into the claustrophobic and oppressive classroom. Passing her classmate, Anastasia Kingston table she got insulted by her as usual.
"Are you and your family really that poor that you don't have money to get your self much of a new and better uniform, Zanna?" She asked menacingly but Zanna ignored her question heading for her seat.
" You've been wearing this already old one for about three years now and it already faded out. Trust me you look like a beggar and garbage in it" She continued making it a point to make her feel so shallow of herself.
Zanna just tried to not let the hurting insulting remarks get to her as Anastasia was just trying to bring her down making her feel a lot bad of herself until she got to her seat. She sat on her desk and dropped her head on the table. She'd always known that Anastasia hated her for always beating her butt but she didn't know it had gotten much to this extent. Anastasia don't just hate her now but despised her. There was a rumor that when she hadn't come to Royalty Academy that Anastasia was the brightest and smartest kid in their class. But then, the moment she'd arrived she'd taken Anastasia place and the girl didn't like the fact that she wasn't the class whizz kid anymore making her a rival.
