Rose's Spirit (pt.2)

"I see," Alastor chuckled softly.

That somehow made sense just as they expected. Why would Cerberus try to protect that Rose at all costs otherwise?

'What are they talking about?'

Vian and Arisa both had the same doubts. However, none of them dared to say it out loud. If Alastor, the person who casually dropped some bombs on them and shocked the living out of them, was using vague terms to discuss it, it meant they were more supposed to know.

The group did not halt their movements as they were getting even closer to the Rose's location. Zefe was still chatting a bit with Vian, but she was paying more attention to her surroundings now.

'This is a little weird.'

Unlike what she had expected, the closer they were to the Rose, the easier their path had become. Less traps, and there was no one to protect the Rose.
