Demonic Immortal (pt.1)

Cerberus' movements halted all of a sudden. The feeling that was always ignited inside its chest disappeared– leaving no traces behind it as if it was not there from the beginning. 

The flame that was burning brightly inside its chest for years, or perhaps it was for centuries by now, had disappeared. 

A loss. That was what Cerberus felt after all these years of yearning it held deep within itself. But now, Cerberus had no purpose anymore. It refused to even struggle against those spells chaining it to the ground. 

What was it doing here? Was escaping worth it? 

Several questions and irrational doubts floated in its head before Cerberus gave up on thinking. Closing its six eyes, Cerberus stopped every thought in his head. 

One thing was sure about it, though.
