Not Interested (pt.1)

The sudden voice made Xian flinch. He gulped, but did not move. Then, he heard the voice speaking once more.

[It is what you wanted to come here for, no?]

"That," Xian started but paused, unsure what he should respond with.

The voice did not say anything wrong, Xian truly came here to get a connectionâ€" a contract with the mythical being. Of course, that required him to subdue the little thing using any possible method.

Perhaps that was what made him hesitate now.

'I feel like admitting that may make him misunderstand.'

If what he was thinking was right and the little puppy was the voice's owner, he really did not want to upset him. A long while had passed while they were here.

Xian lost track of time and only realized it earlier, still, he did not know how much they spent here. One thing for sure, though, was that their relationship was genuine.
