Child of the Devil

Fil had been feeling lethargic since a few nights ago. Rubbing her shoulder while stretching her neck, a frown couldn't help but show on her face.

"Are you okay?" seated beside her on the first class flight, Jackson's eyes brimmed with worry.

She smiled at him and nodded. "Mhm. It's probably just the files I have to review. It's been giving me a headache."

"Why don't you set those papers aside and rest?" Jackson reached for the printouts in her hand and put them away. "You've been reviewing all of these during your off."

"It's not called days off, Jack. I was given that time to review these documents, so I am ready once I start again," she corrected while letting him move up the blanket over her shoulder. "So warm. This is nice."

"It would be if I pulled up this partition between us."
