Too young for her

Kim stayed with Fil, helping her pack her things. Fil had bought a lot, and she didn't realize that until now. When they were done, both of them were exhausted. Thus, they rewarded themselves with some snacks and a glass of wine.

"So, what time will Jack come home?" Kim sat leisurely on the couch while Fil just sat down with some new snacks. "It's getting late."

Fil checked the time, and it was past eight in the evening.

"He said he'll come home a little late tonight, but he's probably on his way," she said with brief curiosity in her eyes. "Why are you suddenly asking about him?"

"I don't want to see his ugly face." Kim rolled her eyes. "I'm still bitter that you're going to marry him."

Fil laughed. "Don't say that in front of him or he'll send you away before the priest can ask who's against the wedding."

"Nah. He knew I would not ruin your day just because I didn't like him." Kim sighed as she took another sip from her glass.
