Into the Snake's Lair

Alice looked around the baby blue room which had dolphins drawn all over the walls—it reminded her of the sea, which made her feel out of place in her black playsuit.

"Make yourself at home."

Alice turned her attention from the room deor and stared blankly at Betty. "I don't think I want to."

"I assure you that I said it for courtesy sake. As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather have you seat outside with the dog."

"Ha ha." Alice sarcastically laughed.

"I'll be back in a minute." Betty walked outside of her room, leaving Alice alone.

"She must like the sea." Alice muttered. The room was arranged in a beach theme. "I hate the sea."

Alice didn't exactly have fond memories from going to the beach. When she was nine years, her parents had taken her and Alex to the beach for a family outing, and when whe was nine, she watched a man die there.
