Alice placed her hands below her hips and stretched like a Cheshire cat on a hot summer day. The only difference was that unlike a cat, she had no freedom.
"Spacing out won't make time fly, in fact it'll elongate our meeting."
Oh, she had almost forgotten that she was with the spawn of the devil. Ha! Like she could ever forget that she was here, her presence in itself was a sorry cry for help.
"Maybe you should focus on tutoring me instead of wondering what I'm thinking about." She replied before picking up her pen and answering the questions that she had left.
As much as she hated to deny it, Betty was right, the sooner she answered these questions perfectly—the sooner their ill-fated relationship could come to a close.
Hopefully.
Alice mentally chocked at the thought of admitting Betty was right about anything? Had she lost it? Was this the side effect of spending so much time with a lunatic?!
