As the class rolled on, I was really getting into my studies, diving deep into the whole academic vibe. But then, out of the blue, I felt this gentle nudge, like the universe saying, "Hey, check this out."

Upon catching sight of his father, Hamlyn hurried to take a seat but stumbled in his haste. Without delay, Sheryl and Hamlyn’s mother reached out to steady him with reassuring hands. 


His father approached, gently placing a comforting hand on Hamlyn's head, "Feeling better now?" he asked. 


Hamlyn nodded gratefully, "Yes, much better. Thank you." 


"Rest up and recover soon. We'll discuss everything once you're back home," his father declared with a gentle tone. in response Hamlyn nodded. 


His father nodded and said, "I'll go talk to your doctor." Hamlyn nodded again. 


As his father walked out of the room, Hamlyn breathed a sigh of relief. Glancing at his mother, he noticed her eyes sparkling with pride and joy as she looked fondly at Sheryl. 


Hamlyn's eyes widened in realization "Mom, it's not what you're thinking" he said nervously. 


"Who is she, Hamlyn? Is she your girlfriend?" his mother gently asked.
