Approaching Hamlyn, Sheryl and he stood face to face, their gazes locking.
Nervously, Sheryl questioned, "What's wrong?"
Hamlyn met her gaze and responded simply, "It's nothing."
Sheryl pressed on, "Then why are you acting like this? If I've done something to upset you, please tell me. I'm ready to apologize.”
Hamlyn explained, "I was just anxious about today's match, nothing more."
Sheryl maintained her gaze on Hamlyn, concern evident in her eyes.
Henry interjected, "Exactly, Hamlyn's just feeling the pre-game nerves. There's nothing to worry about."
"Yeah, and now we should all head out now; time's ticking," Fredy urged,
Sheryl and Hamlyn's eyes remained locked, a silent understanding passing between them amidst the commotion.
As Rurina and Ruby emerged, Ruby greeted, "Sheryl, you're here. Perfect timing. Let's all head out."
Hamlyn agreed, "Yeah, let's go." Finally, Sheryl nodded in agreement.
