As Sheryl entered the room, Hamlyn followed suit, causing Tatsuya's shock to deepen. 


Sheryl broke the silence, introducing, "Father, this is Hamlyn, my friend." All eyes turned to Hamlyn, who offered a friendly wave in greeting. 


"Father, it got late, so Hamlyn kindly offered to drop me home," Sheryl explained. Her father smiled warmly, approaching Hamlyn and extending his hand for a handshake. 


Hamlyn greeted Sheryl's father with a friendly smile and a firm handshake. 


"Thank you," Sheryl's father replied graciously, gesturing for Hamlyn to take a seat. 


Hamlyn nodded appreciatively and settled into the couch, 


Tatsuya, visibly frustrated, also took a seat. Sheryl's father then directed, "Mira, bring some tea for our guest, Hamlyn” 


Mira smiled and went to the kitchen to prepare the tea. Sheryl's father turned to Hamlyn and inquired, "Are you Hamlyn Hasegawa?" 


Hamlyn smiled warmly and confirmed, "Yes, It's me."
