Outside Sheryl's house, Hamlyn sat atop his bike, cradling a box in his hands, while Sheryl stood beside him, her smile radiant.
Hamlyn looked at Sheryl affectionately, a soft smile gracing his face.
"You probably shouldn't take these home," her smile widening. "I'm pretty sure they're not tasty enough.”
"What are you talking about? It's delicious. I love it, and I'm sure my family will love it too," Hamlyn smiled warmly.
Sheryl returned his smile softly, their eyes meeting. Suddenly, Hamlyn's gaze shifted to his left. "Here they come," he remarked.
As Sheryl glanced quickly to her left, finding no one there, she felt a rush of confusion. Suddenly, a soft kiss landed on her cheek, causing her eyes to widen in surprise. Her cheeks flushed pink, a delightful mix of astonishment and warmth spreading across her face.
