As the class rolled on, I was really getting into my studies, diving deep into the whole academic vibe. But then, out of the blue, I felt this gentle nudge, like the universe saying, "Hey, check this out."

So, I looked up, and there she was, this girl sitting upfront. Her eyes, this warm brown hue, caught mine in a kind of mesmerizing way.

I found myself just staring at her, totally caught off guard by this unexpected connection. Her eyes just grabbed all my attention, and man, my heart was racing like it was trying to win a marathon. And then, without saying a word, she subtly pointed to my pen on the floor and gestured to pick it up.

Everyone was gazing at Sheryl with widened eyes, and Hamlyn appeared equally stunned. 


"Ooh," Yuzuki exclaimed in surprise, "congrats," she said, lowering her gaze. 


A smile appeared on everyone's face, and Hamlyn, too, began to smile as he gazed at Sheryl..... 


They all walked back to the campsite, where the others were still sleeping. 


Hamond sighed with relief. "Thank God everyone is still asleep," he said. 


"There's only two hours left until sunrise. Make sure you all get some sleep," Hamlyn instructed. In response, everyone nodded and began making their way toward the camp. 


Hamlyn turned to Sheryl and gently placed his hand on her head. "Make sure you sleep well," he said softly. 


Sheryl nodded, her gaze downcast and her cheeks tinged with red. She lifted her eyes to Hamlyn and said softly, "You too." Hamlyn's face broke into a warm smile as he nodded in response. Sheryl then hurriedly made her way to her camp, and Hamlyn watched her go with a gentle smile.....
