She nodded. “Huh, you live alone?” she asked bashfully as they walked along the long corridor. Taking note that she had to break that clumsy silence.
“Yes.” He answered. “I really like to enjoy my loneliness. Especially when I worked hard throughout the day. I always request my ‘DO NOT DISTURB’ sign. I don’t like it when someone interrupt my alone time.” He could see that she was a little anxious. “Except if that person is you.” He whispered after a while.
He swiped the card, allowing her to enter first. A small cozy, yet luxurious flat on the third floor. Anna walked up to the sofa, keeping her stuff on the living room table. She waited for him, as the latter was switching lights. “Please have a seat.” He offered.
“Huh, my clothes are a little wet.” She smiled.
“Well, if you want you can wear my shirts, the room is that way.” He was taking off his shirt.
