He knelt down, took out a plastic ring and stared at the man standing right in front of him. "Prince Charming," he said sheepishly. "Will you be my father?" he finally said in a go.
Alexander Velvac, stared at the small figure in front of him, amused and impressed. He smiled and finally nodded in agreement. "I will."

"Alex, the welcoming party is great, though I don't even know any of these people." Veronica whispered. "And I don't even know why I’m saying this to you when you’re not even listening to me." 


"It's ok, Vero, you're excused. “He blankly added. 


"You seem preoccupied." Veronica noticed. "I know it is a huge event but that doesn't mean that you should be so nervous and why are you fretting so much? I mean , look around everything has been well organized, and everyone is doing well!" 


"Yes, a little too well I think!" he gritted and shrugged. Anna was still talking to Mr. Wilder. Ok that's enough! "Vero, I'll be back, please be a dear and keep an eye on grandpa for me!" He walked towards the buffet. Where Mira was already standing holding the allergen lists in her hand. 


"Hey bro." He was greeted as walked closer to them. "I have to say your hospitality and arrangements are all well done." 


"Thanks." Alex replied. "I see Anna is helping you through your selections."
