Joanna's POV
TO CATCH A BOYFRIEND cheating wasn’t something I saw every day. And I didn’t want to see it all because it hurt too freaking much. It was one thing to hear about it or even notice it, but to see it? My heart shattered into a million — scratch that — a billion pieces. If the pieces could even be counted.
Dragging my feet up the stairs to my room, I avoided the worried looks on my parents’ face and Elvis’ slightly sad look, which made me laugh hysterically because it seemed he knew this was coming.
I shut the door when I reached my room and tugged off my shoes. I jumped face first on the bed thereafter letting the tears flow.
Screaming as loud as I could without making any sound, I cursed him in the many different languages I could remember and proceeded to laugh at myself. I’m crazy I know.
After the tears had seiqed, I brushed them off my face, before I headed straight to the bathroom where I cleaned myself up.
