What Have You Done, Jessie?

The weekend came faster than I expected, and before I knew it, I was standing outside Jessie’s flower shop. The familiar scent of roses and lilies filled the air as I pushed open the door.

The moment Jessie saw me, she squealed, running over to pull me into a tight hug. "Finally! You’ve been so busy lately, I was starting to think you forgot about me."

I laughed, hugging her back. "You’re not going to believe everything that’s been happening."

Her eyes sparkled with curiosity as she dragged me to the back of the shop. "Spill. Now."

I took a deep breath and told her everything—the fact that I got the biggest role in the upcoming play, Xavier suddenly ignoring me, and Jason’s almost confession.

Jessie’s jaw dropped. "I don’t even know where to freak out from first!" She clutched her head dramatically. "Your life is turning into one of those spicy teen dramas. I swear, if this was a show, I’d be watching every episode."

I rolled my eyes, laughing. "You’re not helping."
