Damien stares at Everything Luxury, one of the most popular stores for jewelry, bags, and suits.
They have gold, platinum, diamonds, jade, and all sorts of
gemstones that one could dream of
Damien wants Megan to stand out among others; he also wants to buy a very expensive suit for himself; he wants to look good on that day; he doesn't want to give anybody any reason to make mockery of Megan; he decided to check out the Jewelry department first.
He walked into the store, and the sales personnel didn't bother to entertain him.
With his dressing, they know he can't afford anything here; he's probably here to take pictures.
The lady frowns.
“I just can't believe we will deal with another con artist today. They keep trooping in.”
She gazed at the entrance; there were no security men at the door. Her eyebrows pushed down as she faced one of her juniors.
“Go get the security guard.”
Damien looked around for a while before he saw a diamond necklace locked in the glass cabinet.
The red diamond necklace was sparking in Damien's eyes; it was very elegant and exquisite, a perfect present for a wedding. He knows no one will be able to beat this gift.
He peeked at the price tag. five million dollars, which was a piece of cake for him.
Damien moved to one of the sales representative.
“Hi, I want this necklace. Take it out. I'd like to have a closer look.”
The sales representative looked at him in disgust; she couldn't believe this fool wanted to play a quick one on her.
“I'm afraid I can't do that; if you want it, just go and make the
payment.When it's confirmed, you can have a closer look.”
She keeps staring at Damien,
disgusted by his whole appearance; he seems like a jobless man.
“To disappoint you further, I don't have the key; it's with our manager, so stop playing tricks and get out immediately. This place is not for you.”
Damien's eyebrows pushed down a little; he knows she is looking down on him, but at least he should be let to check whatever he wants; he doesn't like this behavior.
“Don't jump to conclusions; I really want to buy this necklace, but it's inside the glass cabinet; just a glance, and I will make payments.”
she stare at Damien disgusted
“Didn't you dare jump to
conclusions and look at me with those eyes of yours before you make me lose it on you”
She couldn't believe this con artist was so bold.
“I have seen so many of your kind come here and ask to see the jewelry. When you have a fake inside your pocket, you want to exchange it for the original.”
She pointed her finger at Damien.
“Don't think; you will be able to escape this time around.”
She must inform the Jewelry department manager; her cheeks moved slowly, and she will definitely be rewarded for this.
She spoke through the intercom.
“Miss Abigail, there's a con artist.
Here, who wants to see our most prized possession?”
Finally, this con artist will be dealt with.
Damien can't believe her words; he wanted to have a quiet shopping experience, but it seems he is going to get a noisy one because of these incompetent people who don't know how to do their job.
“Listen to me; I want—”
“Will you shut that mouth of yours, you thief?”
Somebody yelled behind Damien, and Damien turned back, seeing it was Kyle, Dennis first son, and he was with a lady.
Kyle come closer and muttered.
“I hope this thief has not stolen anything here.”
Kyle faces the sales representatives.
“Have you searched him properly?”
Damien's face turned deadly; he won't take this fool trying to accuse him wrongly.
“I can see your face is getting better; that is why you have the guts to rant nonsense. I will forgive you just this once.”
Kyle's eyebrows pushed down. How can he let this madman insult him? Who does he think he is anyway?
He wonders why Damien is here anyway; maybe he is on an errand.
Kyle faces the sales representative.
“What is he buying?”
She pointed at the red diamond necklace.
“This is what he want, he want me to bring out that necklace for him to have a closer look”
Kyle paused for a while before he burst out laughing. He couldn't believe the sale representative words. How can Damien, the street beggar, be asking to see one of the most luxurious jewelry in Everything Luxury? He definitely wants to steal it. His cheeks moved. This is the perfect opportunity to get this man locked up. After all, that is what the family wants.
“You bastard, how dare you order her to do such a thing? Can you even afford a meal, let alone buy something this expensive? You were here to steal it; thank goodness you have been caught.”
The lady with Kyle burst into laughter; she couldn't believe someone would be this foolish to try to steal something from Everything Luxury. He must be mad; how did he plan to escape?
“I can see you clearly missed your way, didn't you see this is
Everything Luxury before you entered, and you still have the guts to come inside and tried to steal something this expensive?”
She looked at Damien, irritated. Damien's jaw tightened as he faced the lady standing beside Kyle.
“I can tell your parents didn't teach you any manners; don't make me smack one into your ugly face.”
Kyle noticed the embarrassment in her face.
“Don't stress yourself francesca; I will deal with this bastard.”
He faces Damien.
“I can see that madness has made you lose your sense of respect; you no longer know your place anymore.”
He pointed his fingers at Damien.
Kyle knows he can't fight him, so he decided to humiliate Damien.
“You rapists, now that you haven't seen any beautiful women to rape, you decided to venture into stealing.”
francesca quickly joined Kyle.
“Is this the guy that raped your cousin?”
Kyle hesitated before he answered.
“Yes, he's the one.”
Damien's face turned red; he hates being called that, and this fool raised his voice up to call him that. He must teach him a lesson; he can't leave without teaching him good manners.
The sales representative quickly walked closer to Kyle.
“Are you sure of this? Do you know him that well?”
“He's a rapist and a thief; he raped my cousin and got her pregnant.”
The sales representative's face was full of smiles; she had always known he was a con artist. Now she waits for Miss Abigail to arrive.
A very enchanting woman with thick makeup sprinted to the storefront.
Her face was deadly as she walked to the middle.
“Where is the con artist? Where is he?”
