|3rd POV|
Varodos screams in frustration while his fellow magisters look at him in concern. They have already read the letter coming from their allies in Westeros, and it is the worst scenario for them—a dragon. There is a dragon in their enemy's camp.
A dragon that burns down an entire fleet from Westeros, destroying their allies before they can even reach their territory.
Now, Westeros decides to take a step back and tell him that they will not support them in this war. What makes matters worse is that Volantis is also backing off against their deal of attacking Solaris while they are busy attacking Myr because they are afraid of the dragon burning down their city.
Their only hope is coming from Qohor to their Northeast. However, reaching Myr will take a long time because of the Velvet Mountain Range, which separates the two cities. Because of that, they need to take the long route and enter Pentos' territory. Sadly, Pentos do not have a good relationship with Qohor, and they will not let an army march through their territory.
That leaves them going south, through the orange shore. Sadly, it will take too long, and they will need to march through Solaris' territory. Once again, the people of Qohor do not want to fight against a dragon without numbers and home advantages.
Because of these reasons, they know that Qohor will not send any reinforcements. No matter the amount of money they pay the Qohorian, they will not send an army to help defend Myr.
After screaming for a few seconds, Varodos looks at his fellow magisters and says,
"What should we do now? The sellswords are already running away before the siege starts. We don't have anything."
The other magisters think for a few seconds before one of them says.
"We need to arm the slaves."
The others look at him as if he is growing a second head.
"Are you mad?! They will try to rebel against us!"
"Hear me out. We will give them a false promise of freedom when the war is over, but when it is over, we will hunt them down. We only need them as a shield for our unsullied that we bought from Astapor."
At the mention of the unsullied, they perk up. Unsullied is great in a defensive battle, and they are in a defensive battle. They know that unsullied will not work when you do an invasion because they are not the strongest fighters.
Because they get their ball chopped off when they are young, they are not as strong as a normal man. They are not as fast or as strong.
However, they are fearless, and they move as one. They are the immovable wall against an invasion.
Sadly, even with three hundred unsullied in their possession, they cannot defend the entire city alone. Not with them getting attacked from two sides.
"You are right. We still have a chance of winning this war. As long as that dragon does not join the fight, we will win."
Varodos grins and says.
"I don't think that dragon will join the battle. The Targaryen needs his dragon to protect his city from invasion. He doesn't know Volantis and Westeros are backing off from helping us or attacking Solaris Kingdom."
He leans forward and continues.
"They don't know that we are alone. Instead of doing nothing, we need to be aggressive. We need to show them that we still have reinforcement from Westeros or from other city-states. To do that, we need to be aggressive."
He looks at his fellow magisters with a smile on his face.
"We shall follow his plan. We will arm the slaves. We will give them armor and put them on the front line. We will leave the unsullied as the cleaning group."
The other magisters nod in agreement and start to talk about the plan against the siege.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I look at the massive wall in front of me and look at Melisandre.
"Are you sure that I cannot use Alduin to destroy the wall?"
Melisandre shakes her head and says.
"No, my lord. Your army needs to show the world that they exist and are reliable to you. We cannot make the enemies think that your dragon is the only thing that makes you a king. We need a win coming from your army."
I release a sigh, nod, and look at the distance. We are at our headquarters on a hill not too far away from Myr. Four thousand men besiege the city from both the ocean and the land—a thousand people attack from the sea, and three thousand attack from land to occupy Myr.
With Tyrosh cowering in their base after I burn all the ships from Westeros and Stepstones, my fleet easily sails through the Narrow Sea and reaches Myr without any problem.
"However, you let me prepare ten golems for them to use."
Yeah. I already built an iron foundation for the iron golem in front of the wall of Myr. The people only need to put a carved pumpkin on top of it to create golems. Golems might not be the strongest creature in Minecraft, but they can one-shot players in Hardcore difficulty. Even in real life, the golem can cause serious damage. I once ordered it to attack me, and boy, it is hurt as my ribs are broken to pieces from a single punch. Luckily, I have a potion in hand that day.
"Golems are different, my lord. They can be considered your army."
"And Alduin is not?"
"Alduin is your army, yes. However, you can create a lot of Golems while there is only one Alduin. They can distract you, and Alduin then attacks other places while you are distracted. Golem, on the other hand, can be placed in multiple places."
"That is fair. However, we can negate that with Dany's children, no?"
"We don't want them to know all of our cards, don't we?"
I nod in agreement.
"Yeah. You are right."
I snap from my thoughts when I hear a warhorn being blown. I look to the battlefield through my spyglass and see the men put the carved pumpkins on the iron foundation, creating golems out of it.
I watch as Ser Willem commands the golems to attack the gate. The golems move alongside the infantry, following behind them in case they do not reach the gate.
"It is starting."
