Confrontation and Vigilance

The Xu Family finally made a move.

Chen An’nian looked at these people and asked softly, “Uncle Zhou, do you think the head of the Zhou Family is among them?”

“That’s a super important figure, we have no idea,” Uncle Zhou hesitated, “I’m going to the Jishui Wharf quickly, there might be a few odd jobs available.”

“Uncle Zhou, you go ahead, I’ll wait here for a while.”

“Alright, I’ll go first.”

Uncle Zhou shouldered his pole and hurried towards the Jishui Wharf.

He was different from Chen An’nian.

Chen An’nian could eat his fill without worrying about his family going hungry.

But in his old Zhou Family, there were still two young children who needed to be fed.

They couldn’t afford to work.

Chen An’nian looked at the rising martial artists, especially the middle-aged man leading them.

He appeared ordinary, lacking any imposing aura or martial prowess.

Instead, he exuded a hint of fragility.

Yet, it was this person who made him sense a dangerous aura.
