Bran and Tala's affirmative responses left Lucius momentarily speechless. The thought of them, a formidable sellsword, a wise healer, and a determined young woman, resorting to such a seemingly whimsical solution in the face of ancient magic, was oddly humbling.

With a resigned sigh and a sense of camaraderie that came from facing the unknown together, Lucius finally nodded.
