Consumed King

As the Tribe of Waray moved away from the clearing, Jugal, their leader, called for a momentary halt. He gestured for his warriors to gather in a circle, their faces reflecting trust in his wisdom and power. Jugal, well-versed in the ancient rites that had been passed down through generations of Waray elders, prepared to invoke one of the tribe's most guarded secrets—the creation of a portal, a direct passage back to their homeland in Samar.

The ritual began with Jugal placing a series of small stones in a circle, each carved with runes that spoke of the earth, the sky, and the waters that surrounded their island home. These stones, when placed in the correct alignment, served as a conduit for the ancient energies that flowed through the land.
