Chapter 4: The dinner party

Driver: We are here

Reagan:Thanks(Comes out of the car)

Blake: Thanks a ton(Follows Reagan out the car)

Ethan: Here's the bill(Comes out of the car.

Driver:Thanks

Dominic:Have a nice evening ☺️

Driver:Thanks son and umm...

Dominic:Here's a paper filled with all our autographs(hands him a paper)

Driver:Thanks dear, you all should have a wonderful evening. Bye(Drives off)

Dominic:(sighs) Well, it's time to go in

Ethan: It's my house, yet it feels so weird entering.

Dominic:(Pats Ethan's back)

Reagan: Hey, you guys are making it so depressing.(Knocks both their heads)

Dominic &Ethan: Ouch 🤕

Reagan:Now are you feeling better.

Dominic: Emotionally maybe, physically definitely not

Ethan: My thoughts exactly.

Reagan: Weaklings. Where's Blake?

Dominic: He was here a moment ago

Ethan: What's the time

Reagan: It's 7:20 and I don't wanna go in early.

Ethan: What should we do till 7:40 at least.

(Blake approaches them with four plastic chairs and drops them near them)

Blake: I thought something like this would happen, so I got chairs from inside. I knew you wouldn't be comfortable going in

Blake & Dominic: Thanks Dude(They sit down)

Reagan: Thanks(She sits down)

Blake: No problem(He sits down)

Reagan: So, do you happen to know you were invited, no offense just anxious 😬

Blake: None taken, but I heard from my dad that they're doing some research with an influential research company to experiment an idea they got and I know for a fact that there's going to be a lot of money gained from the upcoming research but I don't know what exactly it is though. If I did I would tell you both, I promise.

Ethan: How have you been since the incident?

Blake:My dad became stricter than ever but it's cool;Nothing I am not used to.

Ethan:Sorry, it's mainly my fault.

Blake: No, it's not and we all know that but why did she do it?

Ethan: You know during your birthday last year, that you introduced me to a lot of people, I was enjoying the conversation with some of my friends; Dominic was there at first to and there were people I just met and then we saw her, she captured everybody's line of sight yet I saw nothing special in her.You were with her at that time. Don't you remember?

Blake: Somewhat, but keep talking.

(Flashback)

(Dominic walks towards them)

Dominic: Whatsup Ethan(Shakes Ethan)

Ethan: Whatsup Dom

(Ethan & Dominic start conversing)

Boy: Hey, look at that girl over there

2nd boy: (whistles)She's my type, let me go rile her up a little.

Ethan. Don't go looking for trouble. See the people she's hanging out with

2nd boy: Yeah, you're right. I don't want trouble.

Girl: What do you think Ethan?Does she look okay?

Ethan: She looks good but she's not my type (Ethan continues talking to Dominic)

(10 minutes later)

Blake: Sup boys,this is a new friend of mine. Her name is Mia be cool to her

Boy: Oh, it's that girl we spotted earlier.

3rd boy: Is she a kindergarten, why are you taking care of her so much.(laughs)

Blake: Because I saw the way you guyswere looking at her earlier.

Boys: Whatever.

Blake: Dominic, I need your help with something please

Dominic: I am coming! Ethan don't finish the discussion without me(runs towards Blake)

Ethan:(laughs)

(5 minutes later)

(Reagan approaches them)

Reagan: Sup boy, where were you all this while?

Ethan: I've been here since the party started

Reagan: Oh, didn't see you, where's Dominic?

Ethan: He went to help Blake with something

Reagan: Who is that girl over there

Ethan: Mia

Reagan: Oh, she's a Rodriguez be careful I've got a bad feeling about her.

Ethan: It doesn't matter, it's not like we would see her again after this party.

Reagan: Don't be so sure

Girl: Reagan, come over here

Reagan: Bye, see ya later(runs)

Ethan: Bye (laughs at her run)

Mia: I've noticed since earlier but you've got a nice smile

Ethan: I could say the same about you m'lady

Mia: Such a gentleman, your making me blush.How about I get your number for after this party

Ethan: I wouldn't want to gain her majesty with a number such as mine. What if you give me your number. I memorize things quickly

(5 minutes later)

Mia:Ok, see you later handsome

Ethan: Ugh 😑. She's finally gone, now I can see what Reagan was warning me about

(Back to normal timeline)

Ethan: Then, she was frustrated that I didn't call her and somehow managed to get our pictures of when we were racing sport cars and send it to our parents but then it made my parents super annoyed and they didn't let me go to our apartment, I was grounded for three (3) months only being able to eat and shower and to do home lessons. I was almost going crazy and then they seized our cars because you guys were in the picture one way or the other. In the other videos she sent to my parents; It showed Dominic, Blake and i racing with some other guys I don't remember and Raegan was in the photo so they automatically said she was involved and seized all our cars and since then my parents have been even more silent than usual.That's basically what happened just because a girl wasn't my type

Blake: Wow, which is why you dont have anything with girls like that

Raegan: She's such a witch and I knew that since the first moment I saw her

Dominic: Sorry about that, I didn't know that's what happened

Ethan:Don't worry man, it's all in the past (fist bumps Dominic)I am sure she didn't know the harm she caused, that's probably the way she is.

Reagan: That's the worst part, she doesn't care about the consequences of her actions.She's literally a spoiled brat.

Dominic: Yeah, Reagan is right

Blake:(Smirks) Reagan might be kinda mean sometimes but she's the most honest person you can find

Raegan:(Annoyed) Thanks, I would take that as a compliment.

Everyone apart from Reagan:(laughs)

Ethan:...Oh, the time!! What's the time?

Dominic: it's 7:50,let's hurry.

(Everyone rushes in)

And that's how the dinner party began

Dominic: Hey, it's me Dom, you guys finally heard about our"petty& childish" feud with Mia that drifted us even further away from our family and almost destroyed our social lives and believe, social life is the world to people like us….. It's the only thing that keeps us close to our family(sad).
