Kakashi didn't know where in the world the solo S ranked mission went wrong.

The third hokage has recently passed away. Although the selection of the new Hokage has already completed by the council, the would be Hokage is not in the village. That means in these times, the enemy shinobi villages might take this opportunity to launch an attack on the hidden leaf village.
That's why most of the elite jonins and jonins have been ordered to stay in the village. Only the shinobis necessary for border patrol were on duty. So receiving a solo S ranked mission in such a critical moment was really suspicious.

Of course no one will say it out loud. Apart from his political influence and personal force of root, he was the dear fuck buddy of third Hokage. But no one openly rebelled against him because lord third could easily put him in his place.
But now that the Hokage is gone, many shinobi from different clans are waiting for the chance to tear him apart. Similarly now they are also vulnerable to the old war hawk's schemes.
While receiving the mission, the jonin commander Shikaku has warned Kakashi that this mission might be a trap. But due to the urgency of the mission they will have to respond to it.
The mission was very simple. There is a request of a joint mission from the land of water.
After the civil war in the land of water, was finished Mei Terumi has become the fifth mizukage. But due to the loss their Village have faced during the civil war, she has tried to avoid direct conflicts with other major shinobi villages.
That's why she has requested for a joint mission with Konoha in order to investigate the kidnapping of many children with bloodline limit from the land of water, in the land of fire. The mission has been ranked as S ranked mission, due to the possible involvement of the rouge sanin, Orochimaru.
Since the investigation process will occur inside the land of fire, in order to avoid any misunderstanding, the mission has been issued by the mizukage herself.
Now for an outsider like Kakashi, the mission was a typical inter nation mission between two neutral countries, when the both parties have some mutual interest with the mission.
But a person like Shikaku has warned Kakashi to be remain careful. That means he might have found something that Kakashi doesn't know.
That's why Kakashi was vigilant on his way to the rendezvous point.
But to his relief nothing unusual happened. After reaching the border town in the land of fire, Kakashi ate his meal in a local sea food store. He has a reached the point early due to running in full speed.
So he decided to scout the area and then booked a room in a tavern in order to take some rest.
Exactly at the time of meeting, he went to the outskirts of the city.
But after seeing the person standing opposite to him, his headache got worse.
"Well well well ! If it is not copy Ninja Kakashi Hatake. Who knew the hidden leaf will send you ? It seems that now even kami wants me to fullfill my promise of raping you !" Momochi Zabuza declared boisterously while puffing her non existing chest.

Danzo walked inside the underground prison of T & I, holding his cane.
After passing several cells, he stopped in front of a particular cell with a lots of seal on it's wall.
A purple haired girl was sitting inside motionless.
With some specific hands seals, Danzo deactivated all the seals in the cell.
The purple haired girl looked up after suddenly feeling her Chakra again.
"I am doing Orochimaru, this one last favour. When you reach your master, tell him that this time I will not tolerate any delay." Danzo said to the purple haired girl and threw two scrolls towards her.
"The red one is for your master. In the black one has the address of the kunoichi who captured you.
In exchange of freeing you from this prison, I want you to destroy her house and kill her family before leaving the hidden leaf village. If you dare leave before completing your task then even your dead body won't leave the border of the land of fire." Danzo quietly left after saying that.
Guren didn't move from her position until suddenly she stood up again.
