Leaving that matter aside it was a very unfortunate incident, which will require thorough investigation. Considering that Mebuki Haruno was one of the civilian council members and one of the core members of merchant association in the hidden leaf village, her death won't be treated as a simple assassination.
Not to mention the reason of death was crystallization of body. If it only would have the crystallization of their bodies then the case could have been kept secret. But Orochimaru's bitch who had escaped the T & I building despite the tight security had turned the entire building into a gigantic crystal structure. Someone who has suspected to have escaped the entire hiddenly village had somehow managed to hide inside the village while evading the security and sensory team's surveillance for days, naturally rises question about the security of the village. If that's not enough then the death of one of the council members with the hands of that perpetrator was even a bigger issue.
Tsunade was already getting a headache. For a moment she thought about quitting the position while she has the chance. Because if problem like this arises even before she officially takes over as the fifth hokage, she can't imagine the shit she would have to deal with after she become hokage.
"Ibiki, I don't know how you do it. But I want a thorough report of how the crystal release user escaped the underground prison of your department. If my understanding of the security seals of T & I department is correct then without the permission and chakra inprint of a specific group of people, the underground prison cannot be accessed. That means there is a traitor. Find out about him." Tsunade ordered Ibiki who was standing just a couple of steps behind her.

I spent the entire day crying away. It was the first time in my life I was getting emotional. But considering that my parents had died, it was quite normal to become upset. What was even worse that, they had died because of my mistake. If I would have killed that bitch during the chunin exams, then my parents would have probably be alive. Sasuke didn't leave my side the entire day. And I was really grateful for that. During the time of my sorrow, he had given me his shoulder to cry on. And it really meant a lot to me. I wasn't expecting him to give me anything except for some condolescence. But his presence alone even made me more emotional.
The next day after the medical department finished the autopsy of the corpses of my parents, I was allowed to do the funeral.
Kakashi, Naruto, Hinata and Ino visited me during the the funeral. By the time the funeral ended my tears have already dried.
Moving forward is very important. It was the rule of the shinobi life. Maybe I am getting degenerate like the rest of this world if I am being able to cast away my parents that so soon. But no matter what I would be a hypocrite if I lose myself due to something that I had no control over when a few days ago, I was lectureing Tsunade about the importance of moving forward.
The sudden death of my parents made me realise many things. My relationship with my teammate Sasuke was more than just being friends with benefits. Maybe either of us hadn't realised it before. But during the time of crisis the emotional support he gave me mattered the most. The loss of my parents had taught me a very important lesson. Not to leave anyone alive who could possibly harm my loved one in the future.
This time I was determined to do one thing. Never feel how I felt this day. No matter what, I was determined not to leave Sasuke regardless of the cost. Killing Guren will come later. First I will have to save Sasuke from Orochimaru.
The day ended as I finally ate some fruit in order to not starve myself to death. Since my entire house was converted into crystal, Sasuke invited me to live with him.
I had no where else to go so I accepted his proposal.
