The faint hum of activity filled Jack's office as he reviewed the reports scattered across his desk. The faint aroma of freshly brewed coffee lingered in the air, offering a small reprieve from his busy day. Just as he leaned back to relax, his phone buzzed insistently. Picking it up, he saw Riyan's name flash across the screen.
"Riyan?" Jack answered.
"Jack, we have a situation," Riyan's voice came through, slightly strained. "Aunt Sherry and Cherry got into a fight earlier. They were arguing—loudly."
Jack blinked, momentarily stunned. He leaned forward, gripping the edge of his desk. "Ms. Sherry and Cherry?" he repeated, as if he had misheard.
"Yes," Riyan confirmed. "It happened at Aunt Sherry's hotel. Cherry came over, and… well, things got heated. Words were exchanged. Now Cherry's gone back to her office, and Aunt Sherry's still upset. I wanted to tell you because you should support Aunt Sherry in this, whatever it is."
