Jack swallowed nervously, still unsure of what was coming next.
"It's okay, don't worry. Even if I don't help, someone in Greenstone will step forward to cover up her whereabouts," Gorje said with a knowing smile.
Jack froze for a moment, confusion written across his face. "Why?"
"Because some people don't want to see her get into trouble, especially not in Greenstone," Gorje replied meaningfully.
Jack's eyes widened in surprise. "She has that much power?"
"Of course." Gorje smiled mysteriously. "So, don't meddle in her affairs. It will only make things worse."
"Understood," Jack said quickly. Gorje's advice always carried weight, and Jack wasn't about to ignore it.
The two men chatted for a while longer before Jack revealed another purpose of his visit to Greenstone.
Gorje raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "You're planning to treat the third branch of the Merry family?"
"Yes," Jack confirmed with a nod.
